As a skincare company that understands the power of botanicals, we believe in the power of Mother Nature. And while no one appreciates an Earth Day celebration more than we do, we know that being good to your skin starts with being good to the planet and its creatures. And while there is always work to do, we’ve been focused on doing better for our planet for years. Here’s how.
A Belief in Botanicals
At Tuel, we believe that healthy skin starts with a handful of plants and a serious dose of skincare science and that eco-friendly products make for a better environment. First created for skincare professionals, we use high concentrations of powerful plant extracts the planet has to offer—botanicals and minerals rich in potent antioxidants and vitamins that feed your skin from the outside in..Our skincare philosophy is based on the belief that good skincare contains only the best that nature has to offer.
Packing with Purpose
We believe it’s important to discard waste responsibility which is why your Tuel skincare products arrive packaged in biodegradable packing materials. Our packing “peanuts” are water dissoluble and easy to dispose of (and won’t leave behind toxic substances), our paper packaging is compostable, and we always use paper boxes when sending products.
Tuel skincare products are for the most part packaged in glass bottles, and since glass has an almost zero rate of chemical interactions, that ensures each product maintains its effectiveness. Plus, glass is 100% recyclable and about 80% of the glass that is recovered is made into new glass products.
Commitment to Vegan and Cruelty-Free
Did you know that studies say veganism is the single biggest way to reduce your food carbon footprint by 73%? When it comes to skincare, vegan products and vegan skincare brands are less likely to test on animals. Plant-based beauty products can be kinder to you and your skin, but to animals as well. That’s why everything we produce is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We like animals and we don’t test on them. It’s that simple.
