So guys, this one’s for you—a skincare routine that is simple and will have your skin feeling great.

5-Step Morning Skincare Routine

This routine is quick, easy and requires very little effort each morning.

Step 1: Wash your face.

There’s more to cleansing your skin than just getting it clean. Cleansers serve as a crucial first step to before shaving—to prep your skin for the rest of your routine and determine how subsequent products will ultimately perform. Choose your cleanser by skin type for better results.

Step 2: Apply a serum.

Serums are often high in active ingredients and target specific skin concerns (e.g., dehydration, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation etc.). If you really want to get your skin glowing, add a vitamin C based serum. Not only can it help with anti-aging, this multi-tasking product can give skin a brighter look. Adding a vitamin C serum to your skincare routine can deliver good hydration and antioxidant support to your skin.

Step 3: Eye Cream.

It may seem like an extra step when you already are moisturizing, but remember the eyes are the first place most people show their age. Don’t neglect this delicate area, instead gently pat on a nutrient-rich eye cream around your eyes each morning.

Step 4: Moisturize.

No matter what your skin type, moisturizing is one of the most important steps you can take each day. Look for a product that hydrates and nourishes dehydrated skin.

Step 5: Apply Sunscreen

You’ve probably heard this before but it’s worth repeating: Sun protection is a skincare routine must. In fact, 2022 cancer statistics say that men are more likely to be diagnosed with Melanoma than women. Be sure to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every morning, and don’t forget to include your ears and back of the neck when you apply your sunscreen.
